How do I apply? All approved vendors simply send payment via check or paypal for interested dates. Please make checks payable to Buffalo Indie Market and mail to PO Box 661 / Buffalo / NY 14223.

Is there advertising for each event? Each event is advertised in Block Club, a bi-monthly magazie, Artvoice, The Buffalo Downtowner & Buffalo Rising + additional promotion through press, flyers, postcards, online networks and our website.

Is each indie market juried? All participants must be approved to sell at the Indie Market. Once approved selection is based on a first come first serve basis.

Do I have to collect taxes? All artists + designers are responsible for applicable taxes and must have their sales tax ID number displayed during the show.

Can artists outside the Buffalo area participate? All indie artists are welcome to participate in our monthly market.

Are the show fees refundable? All fees are non-refundable. Artists are welcome to sell their spot to any approved vendor. A $5 rebooking fees does apply.

Must I bring my own table? Tables are chairs are provided at all indoor shows. Tables, a tent and chairs must be brought to all outdoor shows.

How can I contribute? Becoming a member and contributing to the planning of shows and distribution of posters and flyers.

Do I have to sign up for all events? No, you may sign up for as little or as many events as you like.

How many vendors will be at each event? Each event may vary from 20 to 50 independent artists + designers.

Can I split a table space? Yes, specify on your application who you will be splitting a table with. Both artists must be approved vendors. If you wish to split but do not know anyone just send us an email and we will try to find someone you can share with

Is there electricity? All participants will have access to electrical outlets at all indoor shows. Outdoor shows may vary.

When do I set up? 1 to 2 hours prior to event.
